2014年政策开始调整，房地产市场开始走低，但是也正是基于此时，2015年启动的全国性货币化安置棚改工作，一下子又点燃了房地产市场。只要有房子建设，基本上就一定有建材需求，没有人会住毛坯！基于这个逻辑，从2016年开始，渭南建材行业开始第二次起飞。“如果前十年做建材赚钱了，绝对不是你经营能力强，而是时代的红利！”耿老板说，“最好的时代被我们赶上了，所以现在，就算不为自己，为了后代，也要奋斗！因为十年后，他们就没有这样的机会了。”

关于对现在大家普遍认为的电商对于家装建材行业冲击看法，耿老板认为，有些言过其实，他解释说，受家居建材行业产品的属性影响，电商的发展并没有对整个行业产生颠覆性的冲击，随着时代的发展和观念的进步，消费者的行为也更趋于理性，现在的电商都开始尝试线下体验店，同时，也只是通过线下服务提升电商的粘性，可以肯定的是，电商始终是无法对行业产生颠覆性的影响的。实体建材商家除了坚持引进有竞争力的产品之外，还要大力加强整体服务，所有的精力都要围绕消费者需求做文章，“还是一句话，把口碑和形象视作生命，严把产品质量关！”耿老板说。

根据现在渭北装饰良好的经营现状，耿老板说在近期他还准备再追加几间门店，“后期的业态和商品都会扩充，我打算把一楼全部作为形象展示和接待洽谈的区域，二楼的话，作为LED灯饰的卖场，10间门店可满足不了！”在采访结束的时候，耿老板兴奋地说。
