近年来，全国低速电动车交通事故频发，所以不少地方的相关部门开始限禁老年代步车，但深入了解就会发现，老年代步车并不是事故发生的根源。

公共场所吸烟都禁止不了，还想禁止老年代步车？事实上老年代步车一直都是被禁止的，问题是谁管呢，经常有老年代步车在交警面前晃荡，但是极少有交警出面干预，哪怕三里屯国贸十字的交警，天安门东和天安门西的交警，对晃悠悠的老年代步车也是不闻不问，当然拱北海关口岸门口红绿灯十字的交警也怂管，更不用说皇岗口岸，罗湖口岸门口的交警了。所以大家都是光拿嘴说禁止老年代步车呢，问题是嘴说要是有用，估计就没人开老年代步车了。
下一个问题是为什么蓝田地铁站附近的马路上和弥敦道345号附近的马路上，还有西九龙车站附近的马路上，料罗湾地铁站附近的马路上似乎没有老年代步车？
我觉得必须禁止老年代步车上路。因为老年代步车都是比较小的电动车。他们不遵守交通规则的话还走机动车道。而且车速还是挺快的。老年人有时注意力不集中或者反应慢等问题。最容易出现一些交通事故。这样也会危及到更多的人，所以说禁止老年代步车上路。
我觉得应该禁止老年代步车上路。特别危险。我经常看见老年代步车都会和其他车相撞发生交通事故。而且老年人的安全意识比较薄弱。他们感觉什么都不怕，开车就横冲直撞得在路中间开。这样特别危险，别人看见了都要离他们远点。但是有些司机开得快就会撞到他们。这是一个社会问题，应该关注。
现在，老年代步车确实很多，在街上随处可见。远的不说，光我们楼下就有3辆停在院子里。见邻居老人下午没事时就拉着老伴到处逛，傍晚去滨河大道买东西。老人走不了远路，开着这个也确实方便。但也确实存在安全隐患。老年人反应慢，有时又开的速度过快，也对交通规则不太了解，不能认真遵守，还爱用车子拉人。这样就容易出现交通事故。想要完全杜绝，也是不可能的，只要有生产的，就有使用的。就是老年人在使用时，最好不要开的过快，可以开的慢一点，最好不要用车拉人。遵守交通规则，避免事故的发生。
如果是小车式的代步车无所谓，尤其是三轮的那些老人，不戴头盔，还横冲直撞。接娃的时候最多。今晚接娃就有一个老人带的她孙子，走到5岔路口，直直的冲到前面，还快的不行。一个小车差点都追尾了，谁知道人家还像没事人，呼一下走了。，无所谓态度。我也是佩服！！
禁止是有一定道理的，希望国家能回购这些非法车辆，老百姓也不容易。
建议一个新兴产业的诞生，能否进行论证。一个新型项目它都要经过小试.中试.大试。才能最终上马！不能盲目发展，不计后果。最后到底谁来买这个单，值得深思。
这个一定要禁止，而且还要从源头解决，禁止生产这些车，这些车不仅存在质量问题，而且在路上是很大的安全隐患，因为很多老年的安全意识很薄弱，而且对于交通规则也不是很了解，因此他们经常在路上会出现违反交通规则的情况，比如最常见的闯红灯，不仅容易导致自己发生交通事故，出现受伤甚至是身亡的情况，而且也给其他的车辆和行人造成了极大的不便
我身边有位老人，今年已经86岁了，经常骑着两轮电动车上街买东西，人都有老了的时候，人老了以后，家庭情况都不一。我觉得这个事情不能禁止，虽然你是好心，但是老人们觉得憋屈，应该号召来往车辆，在有老人的路段，车速最好放在30码以下，给老人们留一个夕阳空间。

禁止把，为了自己也为了别人的家庭。老人就不要开车了
主城区人员太多，城市基础设施配套跟不上，难以负荷！
如果证件齐全我觉得可以上路！正规化！否则安全隐患很大！

必须禁止，太危险了，不按交规行驶，我行我素，眼中无人，想咋开就咋开，容易扰乱正常交通秩序，
说实话，我身边的老人人家都是比较惜命的，不开车。也比较遵守交通规则，但是也有个别不惜命的，真的是目无王法，闯红灯，代步车拉人，开车时吸烟聊天，哎，真的不把自己当回事儿
