千万不要，我小时候就是左撇子，硬是让我父母打的用右手，现在我除了写字和用筷子是右手，其他还是左手，我觉得他们打掉的不是一个习惯，而是一个天才的未来。
宝宝左撇子其实并不需要去纠正，只要顺其自然就行。左撇子相对于右撇子来说是右半脑占据优势，一般来说有左撇子的人往往节奏感会比较强，还有空间平衡能力，再有就是色彩也会比较敏感。因为左半球主要是支配着右半身，而右半球则是支配着左半身，孩子出现左撇子的情况，也就是右半球占据了主导的地位。当然左撇子并不会影响到孩子整体智力的发育以及身体方面的发育，所以不需要强行给孩子进行纠正。不纠正并不是说孩子就可以不用右手了。也可以让还孩子也锻炼用右手写字吃饭。这样左右手都能用多好。只是左手会更灵活一些。

不必刻意纠正他的习惯，只要管住他不用左手写字就行了（左手写字别扭并且不符合笔画顺序），其他的顺其自然。左撇子一般来说，右脑发育超出正常人，会很聪明的，这是一件好事。
这种现象不需要纠正，人的大脑功能区分布不一样，管理思维、记忆、逻辑、语言、运动的功能区不一样。现在应用左手有利于右侧大脑的开发，左撇子名人也非常多，硬是改为右，违反大脑发展，硬把左手改为右手，严重违反了大脑生理的自然发展。
决定惯用左手或右手是孩子大脑专有的权利，家长、老师、医生都无权干预。一个人的智能，若以提升到成熟的阶段，他的大脑会完成一些惯用的线路，但大脑智能的操作达到最高效率的重点之一便是眼、手、脚都必须同侧使用。
一个惯用右手的孩子，同时惯用右脚和右眼，因此这个孩子右手会比左手灵活，右脚比左脚更有力，读书时也用右眼比左眼多。
他的大脑已长好惯用右侧的线路，在这线路流畅，流利的通畅又协调，故而他的行动也能够发挥最高效率。
同理可证，一个惯用左手的孩子大脑也已建立好了惯用左侧的高效率的线路，使用左眼、左手、左脚都能够运作的流利、通畅以及协调。
小孩“左撇子”不是病，不需要特别纠正。若家长强迫小孩使用右手，不但会束缚小孩小手的自由，还会让小孩感到强大的压力，即便是最后家长帮小孩纠正了“左撇子”，也可能无形中限制了小孩右脑的开发。所以说，如果家长希望小孩使用右手，不妨让小孩学会两只手共同使用、交替使用，从而更好地促进小孩左右脑的开发。
听说过一句话，左撇子说明左脑聪明，左脑管智商，右脑管情商，至于是不是这个问题还有待研究。我身边倒是认识好几个左撇子，智商绝对么问题，就是情商真的有点堪忧{:qqemoji57:}
我觉得没有必要纠正，可以锻炼他两只手都用，这就是个人习惯的问题，就好像有人喜欢吃香菜，有人不喜欢一样，不影响孩子的生活学习就没有必要纠正，左右脑一起发育也蛮好的嘛！！！！！！
左撇子的思维方式，比如数理化的逻辑，和一些运动项目，比如高尔夫球，网球，都会比一般人更灵活，这是优点。但在以后，要不断去适应各种右手用的工具，用品，会给生活带来困扰。所以，父母得尽量干预小孩子去用右手，尤其是写字。
