虽然人占车位不违法，但是抢占、浪费公共停车资源绝不是合理行为。另外，由于目前还没有对应的法律法规，对个人抢占停车位的行为作出处罚，所以不少车主遇到这种情况大多表示束手无策。如果车主是在小区物业停车场发现这种情况的，可联系物业来处理。
而如果车主是在道路或停车泊位，遇到人肉占车位的，则可以向交警反映，说明事发的详细位置、相关情况。之后交警部门会根据事发的位置，安排属地交警前往，目前交警对这种人占车位行为主要是以劝导为主，让占车位的人快速离开。
另外，在日常生活中，侵占道路或停车泊位的行为也还是屡见不鲜，主要可分以下三类：
1、在道路或停车泊位上堆放物品，比如占道堆放物料，在停车泊位上堆放物品，利用桌椅等占车位；
2、在道路或停车泊位上占道经营，比如摆设摊点、维修清洗车辆，甚至是开办集市等；
3、圈占停车位，比如为了方便自己停车，在道路或其他公共区域设置地桩、地锁或者其他障碍物圈占停车泊位。
根据相关规定，对占道堆放和占道经营的，将责令限期改正，并处以五十元以上三百元以下的罚款。而对于圈占停车泊位的，将责令限期拆除，逾期未拆除的，城市管理行政执法部门将依法实施代履行，进行强制性拆除，并处二千元以上一万元以下罚款。
另外，除了公共停车位会遇到有人抢占之外，不少人有时甚至可能还会遇到自己的停车位被他人占用，当车主遇到这种情况时，可以通过以下方式解决：
1、通过交强险标记来联系车主。一般说来，交强险上面会有相应的保险公司的联系方式，我们通过拨打客服电话，让客服帮忙联系车主，让车主过来挪车，这种挪车方式，算是比较温和的了。但对于一些不好说话的车主，可能不那么奏效；
2、拨打122报警。很多人以为110才是报警电话，但如果你遭遇车位被占的情况，通过拨打122交管热线，让交警帮忙通知车主把车挪走。一般说来，交警的提醒的震慑力会更大，所以，车主都会乖乖把车开走。
3、拖车。对于屡次通知无效的情况下，只能是拖车了，这种方式见效快。一般说来，可以通过报警让警察来拖车；
