今天有幸参加了红爵啤酒杯男神女神颁奖大赛。环顾四周，除了我们几个年龄较大的，其余的都是二三十岁的年轻人，青春正飞扬。颁奖中间穿插的饮料PK大赛他们是主角。一瓶500ml的饮料，在几秒，几十秒间便一饮而尽，赢得了一片片掌声。年轻真好！不禁想起了前些年我看到的一首诗。
麦克阿瑟将军在指挥整个太平洋战争期间，办公桌上始终摆放着装有一篇名为《年轻》短文的镜框。松下公司的创始人松下幸之助说：“多年来，这篇短文始终是我的座右铭。”
这篇短文仅此在美国发表的时候，引起全美国的轰动效应，成千上万的年轻人把它抄下来当作座右铭收藏，这就是德裔美籍人塞缪尔·厄尔曼写的一篇只有四百多字的短文《年轻》。在此与广大耀友一起分享。

Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind. It is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees. It is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep spring of life.
年轻，并非人生旅程的一段时光，也并非粉颊红唇和体魄的矫健。它是心灵中的一种状态，是头脑中的一个意念，是理性思维中的创造潜力，是情感活动中的一股勃勃的朝气，是人生春色深处的一缕东风。
Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exits in a man of 60, more than a boy of 20. Nobody grows merely by the number of years; we grow old by deserting our ideas. Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.
年轻，意味着甘愿放弃温馨浪漫的爱情去闯荡生活，意味着超越羞涩、怯懦和欲望的胆识与气质。而60岁的男人可能比20岁的小伙子更多地拥有这种胆识与气质。没有人仅仅因为时光的流逝而变得衰老，只是随着理想的毁灭，人类才出现了老人。岁月可以在皮肤上留下皱纹，却无法为灵魂刻上一丝痕迹。忧虑、恐惧、缺乏自信才使人佝偻于时间尘埃之中。
Whether 60 or 16, there is in every human being's heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what's next and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station; so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and from infinite, so long as you are young.

When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with the snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you've grown old, even at 20, but as long as your aerials are up, to catch waves of optimism, there’s hope you may die young at 80.

These are what I have and what we have at this period of life. So, I'm still young, yes, definitely ! Come on my fellow friends, show your energy and passion to this god damn world ! Let the universe hear our voice, see our cheek, hug our enthusiasm and witness our maturity. We're going to create a brand new future!
